What is the Ballon d'Or AI trend?

The Ballon d'Or is football's best-known individual award, a golden ball handed to the player of the year. The 70th ceremony took place on 26 October 2026 at the London Palladium, the first time it left France.

Around the ceremony, people started making AI clips of themselves winning it: one photo in, and out comes a video of you walking up, taking the golden ball and kissing it like the real winners do. Searches for "ballon dor ai" hit their highest point so far the day after the ceremony.

This page makes that clip with you as the winner. You can make it for a friend who scored the winner on Sunday league, a coach, or just yourself.

Second by second

Seconds	What happens	What it needs from your photo
0–2 s	A presenter's arm hands you the golden ball on stage.	Your whole outfit shows here, shoes included.
2–6 s	You take it in both hands and grin at the crowd.	A sharp face makes the smile land.
6–8 s	You bring the ball up and kiss it.	The close moment: a front-facing photo helps most.
8–10 s	You lift it over your head as gold confetti falls.	Arms and full body; a full-length photo looks best.

What this version does and does not do

Does: the 10-second award moment with you as the winner, from taking the ball to lifting it.
Does not: put you in real ceremony footage or next to real players. The stage, the presenter and the crowd are AI-made.
Does not: dress you in a tuxedo. You keep the clothes from your photo.
Does not: show the official trophy or any logo. The golden ball is a generic one.

How to make your Ballon d'Or AI video

Ballon d'Or is already chosen in the tool above.
Use a clear, front-facing photo of one adult, ideally full length. Dress up if you like: what you wear in the photo is what you wear on stage.
Say the photo is yours or that the adult in it agreed, sign in, then hit Make my dance video. Expect about 7 minutes, with an email when it is done.
Save the MP4 from My videos within a week and post it with the sound on.

How we tested the Ballon d'Or AI clip

Every person below is AI-generated, not a real person. The clips are unedited outputs, upscaled to HD the same way yours is.

Photo0:10 · HD
Young man in a yellow T-shirt and jeans, full length
His face, T-shirt and jeans held from the handover to the lift. The kiss at about 7 seconds came through cleanly, and he kept his own clothes rather than a tuxedo.
Photo0:10 · HD
Woman with curly dark hair in a green dress, full length
Same face and curls in every frame; the green dress and heels carried over. She took the ball, kissed it and raised it overhead in time with the original.

Clothes come from your photo, so a suit or a dress gives the most award-night look.

How it compares

What you give it	One photo	A photo and a typed scene description	Your camera roll, inside an app
The scene	A fixed award-night clip: handover, kiss, lift	Whatever you describe, results vary	Depends on the template

Wait	Around 7 minutes	Sometimes quicker	Seconds to a couple of minutes

This page makes one scene: the handover, the kiss and the lift, with your face.

Ballon d'Or AI questions

What is Ballon d'Or AI?

A video where the person in your photo wins the golden ball: you take it on stage, kiss it and lift it over your head while gold confetti falls and the crowd cheers.

Is this the real Ballon d'Or ceremony?

No. The stage, presenter and crowd are AI-generated, there are no real players in it, and the trophy is a generic golden ball. We are not connected to France Football or the Ballon d'Or.

Which photo works best?

One adult, facing the camera, face sharp, ideally full length. The clip shows you head to toe, so a full-body photo looks most natural.

Will I be wearing a tuxedo?

No, you keep the clothes from your photo. For the full award-night look, use a photo in a suit or a dress.

Can I make one for a friend or a footballer I like?

For a friend, yes, if they are an adult who agreed; you confirm that before every video. Photos of famous people, including footballers, and of children are not accepted.

How long is the video?

10 seconds, portrait HD 960×1664, with crowd applause.

How much is a Ballon d'Or AI video?

$7.99 for your first video, then $9.90, no subscription; bigger packs are on the pricing page. Failed videos hand the credit straight back.
